Employment Classifications

All personnel engaged by Mohtz.shop are categorized based on their role and arrangement:

1. Full-Time Employees

  • Typically 35–40 hours per week

  • Eligible for benefits (healthcare, PTO, bonuses)

  • Must commit to long-term employment contracts

2. Part-Time Employees

  • Work under 30 hours per week

  • May receive some benefits depending on state laws

  • Often fill support, creative, or seasonal roles

3. Contractors / Freelancers

  • Independent workers hired on a project or hourly basis

  • Not entitled to traditional employee benefits

  • Must sign a contractor agreement and submit invoices for payment

4. Interns

  • May be paid or unpaid (in compliance with labor laws)

  • Generally time-limited (8–12 weeks)

  • Receive mentorship, shadowing opportunities, and experience certificates

Working Hours & Remote Flexibility

⏰ Standard Hours:

Monday – Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM (EST)

We follow a remote-first policy. Employees can:

All work time and deliverables must be logged in our HR system for accountability and planning.


Termination Policy

Employment may end through:

  • Resignation

  • Non-renewal of contract

  • Cause (misconduct, underperformance, breach of contract)

We always strive to provide 2 weeks’ notice (or pay in lieu) and offer exit interviews to improve our internal processes.
